We visited in May during rainy season which meant the pool could only be visited at certain times. When we visited shoes were a must as the route is rocky and can be muddy if it has recently rained. The walk takes over 20-30 minutes...More

Amazing. It feels you are in an aquarium. The walk down to the place is well worth it. Make sure to reserve your visit a couple of days ahead, since visits are controlled to preserve the environment.

We did the longest Atalaia tracking which consist of 3 natural pools. To be honest, we were told that the pools are amazing and you get to see a lot of stuff, however we couldn't see that much. The tracking itself, though, is completely worth it.
