Our tours are friendly, informative and fun. With no more than 12 people on board, raft beneath many thousands of fabulous glowworms to see them at their very best. We visit private caves away from the regular, more commercial tours. Our caves are on a beautiful hill country farm and your guide is also your host, so expect a really enjoyable and memorable tour of our two magical caves.

This was a brilliant tour – as many reviewers have mentioned, Norm was a great guide for our small tour (7 people). The glow worms are breathtaking and we got a very decent amount of time sitting in silence in the dark beneath the canopy...More

I was at first worried my 5yr old would lose interest in this 3hr excursion. I'm so glad I trusted these reviews, as we both had a great time. Thx Norm! Informative and had lots of quality time in the caves. Def worth it.

Norm was our guide, with only 5 people on the tour that day, it was an intimate group. We wanted to get away from overly commercialised tour groups and site, and this certainly was the best choice we made! Norm was a wealth of local...More

We spent a pleasant morning with our guide Norman. He drove us on a road in the midst of beautiful rolling hills to the caves. He pointed out other caves on the way and explained to us the geology of this area. One cave has...More

This is an intimate, up-close experience with the caves. The highlight was a peaceful and lengthy drift down the cavern in darkness, illuminated only by the bioluminescent glow of the glowworm and accompanied by the roar of a distant waterfall. The caverns were stunning, and...More

Our B&B host recommended Spellbound as far better value than the other big touristy attraction. She was right - we thoroughly enjoyed our Spellbound tour, expertly led by our guide Mangu. A short drive to a local farm, a walk into the glowworm cave plus...More

We did the 3.25 hour tour. Think that's the only one they offer. I'd recommend calling and getting your name on the list as I think they fill up fast. Was a wonderful tour! Free phone (in NZ) is 0800 773 552
