So much history great visit. Just over the bridge. Great to read on the Hakka history who's language and tradition is slowly being lost. But third generation are slow seeing the value in the Hakka and trying to maintain traditions

It was interesting to see in the furnished rooms how people lived in tulous. Well worth a visit to see historical the customs and culture of the Hakka people.

This is an excellent place to visit if you are want to know more about the Hakka culture. It will take about two hours to go through the museum but definitely worth the time.

A good place to start for a brief on the Hakka history and culture to give context for all visitors and especially those looking for their roots. Entry is free and you can do self guided tour as it has both English and Chinese explanations.Ashamed that it can be very noisy when there are group tours. Walking around the park... More

As a Hakka, this museum brings to me a great understanding of the origins of my people. They are a tenacious lot, surviving in the hills and the edge of fertile lands.
