Lacklustre compared to night markets in other beach spots in SEA (Phuket, Langkawi etc). Can give it a miss - just walk past it as part of walking back from the Long Beach Cafe to work off the calories.

Sorry to say that this market is really not worth a visit. Quality of merchandise poor.Granted I am not a market lover however well versed in in art of bartering experience with experiences in Mexico, Cambodia, Vietnam , China and other places.

Hard to avoid the night market if you are looking for places to eat and drink round here but it is an experience in itself walking through these pavement stalls. Great if you want some fake bling and or t-shirts of the Georgetown street art (or football shirts), not that I did. Not too much hassle as long as you... More

Nice atmosphere with excellent local street food and restaurants. The market itself peddles the normal commercial tourist items ... clothes electronics etc etc

It was an underwhelming experience. The good thing was using Uber from Georgetown saves money and time. It cost roughly 13 RM and 40 minutes in rush hour traffic around 6pm weeknight and we got dropped off around Sands and walked the narrow covered stalls towards the Hard Rock cafe. I can't imagine later on the night when there are... More

Lots of stalls and things to buy. Need high negotiation skills, be daring and bold to slash the price quoted. Most items can be found at many other stalls so don't rush into getting the things you really like.

I have returned to Batu Feringgi after many years and I have to admit the overall area has gone downhill. The varous night markets all sell similar products which do not look that attractive. I'm sure if this is your first visit you may like it but I have travelled a lot in Asia and I love my market shopping.... More

Unless you are a first time traveller, this type of market is just a totally tired concept. The locals do not shop in this one & it is tired, tired, tired. I was here 15 years ago & there are not nearly as many as there were then which says that even the traders are just going through the motions.... More

Well, if you have nothing better to do at Ferringhi area and just wanna walk around, perhaps you can consider this night market. It's a pretty long stretch but most of the stalls sell the same thing. And unfortunately, its like having ABC repeated again and again instead of ABCDEFG repeated (limited variety). Perhaps the market is catered to another... More

This is the best night market and street food on the island . Food potions and ice creem scoops are small and not enough for a meal. Fruit juice is one grated carrot in a glass of water. Nice clothes but only size 10 . No street clothes sizes for Westerners to be found on the whole of the island.... More
