This is a staple in E Valle. Always something new to see. Great place to take children. The scenery is beautiful and the frog exhibit is awesome.

We enjoyed being up and close to the birds and animals...the trails are well marked and the creatures are identified in multi-lanuages. Great place for children to see monkeys etc

Since I'm not a fan of Zoos, I wasn't sure how to rate this. I was told this was a Sanctuary for animals, that's why we went. I really don't think the animals are saved then let go into the wild again. I actually felt...More

Plenty of room to roam, animals to see places to rest or run. Nice variety of animals. Not handicap accesible.

Although the zoo is mostly typical, it does have a separate building devoted to frogs, of which they are trying to conserve. There were a number of species represented. Since our last visit three years ago we noted there were less species and a general...More

This isn't like traveling to a zoo in the USA, but it has some really interesting animals. Definitely buy the back of corn when you pay for your tickets. Most all of the animals like them and get excited when you give them food. Even...More

Lots of different animals native to south and Central America. Good way to spend a few hours. Grounds are beautiful with lots of fauna.

Hi We will avoid, place sounds like it should be shut down! Animals should only be in zoos for conservation in this day and age where so many face extinction due to human behavior! Birds so bored they pull their feathers out and animals that should be roaming free shut up in appalling conditions, what kind of lesson is this for children to learn? Anyone prepared to justify it?? let me know, thanks Kathy and Martin.
