Worth a visit, especially since it was not possible to visit it in communist days. Thanks to Silvester Stallone's film project a bridge was built crossing the river and connecting with the cave. Spacious and memorable.

Amazing place, breathtaking! Everyone visiting Bulgaria for tourism should visit this place. There isn't a guide that walks you around and to be honest, you do not need one. It's a great place to visit, take pictures in and enjoy.

The cave is really impressive, home of more than 30.000 bats and other birds. Visited on the 2nd of July, 35 degrees outside but inside the temperature was perfect. Parking onsite is free and you also have some souvenir stands there. Entrance is 3 leva...More

Hard to believe that you're only a short drive away from Lovech...turning off the main road it is pretty difficult what to expect however you're greeted with some of natures finest offerings. In short, simply beautiful, serene and well worth visiting for the day.

This cave is amazing, if you are anywhere near it - you have to go and see it! It will be best if you can go there on a sunny day, but even if it is raining (as it was when I went to it)...More

On our drive from Romania to Sofia we detoured to the Devetashka cave. The road(s) coming from this direction are a little more worn so expect some potholes and such on the way. Once we left the drive to Sofia was world's apart. When you...More

What a place! Beautiful location, majestic! Easy to get, free parking, free access. If you're lucky you can see some bats.

An interesting cave hosting a special treasure inside - bats colonies, protected. I was lucky enough to reach here before seeing Eyes of God so I was impressed by the grandeur of the place. If you wonder what is the meaning of the big circular...More

Hi Miriam M. I went here in the spring, and it was a bit muddy in some places, but not so bad that it was miserable to visit. I haven't been in the winter. I imagine it might be a bit more difficult to go there with snow... More
