You can reach the castle from the town by different routes but all are quite intriguing and steep! The castle is kept in reasonable condition but once at the ramparts, keep hold of children as there is nothing in place to stop them from falling...More

This is a must when in Nafpaktos. It doesn’t take long to view, is part of this location’s rich history and if nothing else worth it for the amazing views and photo opportunities.

Walked all the way up, quite a climb but very well preserved and impressive remains. Fantastic views from the top.

The castle is built on a very nice place. Really big, with lots of remains. The view is outstanding. Really deserves a visit.

Driving up is slightly hair raising but the views and history are mind boggling. The entry fee is a trivial 1 euro. Go there and look around - you won't be disappointed.
