I enjoyed Perissa Beach. As a solo traveler, sometimes I would feel overwhelmed by crowds. Perissa offers the relaxation portion of Santorini. While Oia has the shopping variety of high end retail and boutiques, Fira offers the restaurant and nightlife scene. Nice beach with soft black sand, and the water not so deep restaurants all accross the beach with very nice food and cheaper tgan anywhere else in Santorini.

Perissa is very interesting beach with beautiful black sand. Many cafes, taverns and bars on coast. Clean beautiful sea. I will come back sure. 😁

Still a pretty place to visit and see locals getting ready for busy season. They say it starts in May. Unlike Thira and Oia that are already busy. Most of the places are closed. But if you want to miss the crowds it's best to go now. I suggest having a car to go into other towns that are 6-8... More

What more can you ask for? This beach is a little ways off of Fira and Oia so we rented an ATV here, which took approx 30 mins from Fira. Since it's somewhat remote, there aren't that many tourists. Great Restaurants and shops in a nice beach area. Visited the Veggera Hotel & strolled to Tranquilo Bar & Restaurant and then finally made it across the street to Parissa Beach. Its sure is a relaxing area

Perissa beach is a nice place to chill for the day/evening. Facing the sea is a promenade of restaurants and bars and is a lovely walk in the day or at night. Perissa beach , best, on the island, long black sand, lots of tavernas bars ,and great little shops. No matter how busy still plenty of space. But sand gets hot hot hot. Wear shoes.

Beautiful beach...quite far from FIRA... but you can take a bus from fira bus station... that is the cheapest way for commute.... but worth a visit... clean beach... nice view... good for taking pictures... not many tourists...
