In Rhodes, you really have to visit this place, but it's not the "original", which was blown up accidentally during the Ottoman period. An interesting and quite tasteful example of how the Italians thought it might have looked....One hour is easily enough to see it.

One of the best medieval palaces all over Europe, including exhibitions, nice views over the old town and lots of mosaic floors.

After touring the castle, pay the 2 euro more and walk the walls. You get a great view of Rhodes and can imagine yourself standing guard on the battlements

The scale of the palace and size of the rooms was amazing. Wd spent ages going around the exibitions they were hosting. I particularly enjoyed the room of Rodos ceramics and their history.

Not really. The entrance to the walls is outside the main entrance to the Palace and the walk does not finish at the same place you start.
