Awesome couple of hours, Daniel was super knowledgeable, wines fantastic, well worth the trip....kids had fun playing outside while mums & dads did tasting. Enjoy the artwork as well....Stay at their villa, Poggio Del Sopra, take a massive run/walk to the tastings...GOLD!

A beautiful setting for an afternoon of wine tasting. This family run business will happily become your host for two hours, guiding you through their produce. Your time includes food, plenty of wine plus a tour of the vineyard and facilities. We were amateurs at wine tasting but they happily answered all sorts of questions and their personable manner put... More

The welcome at this beautiful winery is warm and personal. It is the true opposite of mass tourism. Every tour is personally appointed with mr D'Antoni who showed us the winery with immense knowledge and humour, and patiently answered all our questions. I was amazed to see how much of the wining process is actually still made by hand. We... More

We had such a memorable tour and tasting while visiting Castello Romitorio. Daniele welcomed us immediately and proceeded to introduce us to the historical grounds and castle, vines, barrel room, bottling facility, and then tasting room. We were grateful for and lucky to receive a private tour that was extremely educational and helped us understand the many facets of producing... More

HOME RUN! The Director, Danielle, was our host. INCREDIBLE private tour (just us) of this gorgeous winery. Part art gallery, part winery. We were fortunate to meet the wine maker (he happened to be outside trimming the hedges). Toured the restored 12th century farm house and fortress. Incredible. Very small winery, but unbeliveably unique with high quality Brunello. The labels... More

While we were staying in Montelpulciano, I decided to take the advice of several reviewers who suggested emailing Daniele for a tour and tasting. Good thing I asked for directions as this vineyard is off the beaten path, but we'll worth the drive. Daniele was a superb host, showing us the total operation of the vineyard during the busy harvest... More

After a short tour of the wine production facility and the grounds of the owner with his majestic medieval castle home, we went to their tasting room for lunch and a tasting. We have been here several times in the past few years and have enjoyed it more each time we visit. Tulia, Chris, and Danielle are outgoing, friendly, and... More

We visited a total of 19 Brunello wineries in 7 days on this recent trip. I had emailed Daniele a few months in advance to arrange a tour and a "lite lunch". Well, the tour was spectacular. The grounds are simply gorgeous. The beautiful former fortress/monestary is well preserved. Daniele was an incredible host. He gave my nephew and me... More
