Worth the money if you brave the cable car journey. Warning to all who live with vertigo, close your eyes on the way up. If you manage to keep your eyes open, wonderful views are for all to see. Once at the top its worth bearing in mind that there are lots of steep hills to encounter. Two free mine... More

If you do not use the cable cars it is a steep climb that is not well sign posted, but well worth the effot for the views from the Victoria Prospect Tower over High Torr ,Matlock and Cromford..Also trips down the 2 lead mines of Rutland and Masson are well worth the time.Excellent facilities for eating are available.

We went to the heights of Abraham for my husbands birthday. I have 3 boys and they loved it. The play park is great way to let off steam after being in the caves. The long slide is great fun. The only draw back is the cable car to get there. But that is just me as I'm scared of... More

An interesting day out. Loved the cable car and views of the countryside. Caves were interesting - easy walk down to the village for fish and chips

I went in March and the weather was also nice...so more enjoyable. The cable cars are very well organized but very expensive. Once up, the view is breathtaking. We had lunch at the main restaurant and I have to say, the food was superb. My little boy ordered the pasta with bolognese sauce. Being Italian, I found difficult to eat... More

Before I get to the review proper, go early in the day when it opens (I will explain why later). I went there with my wife and two children, aged 9 and 11, on a bank holiday weekend. The sun was out but still a bit chilly when not in it. Because we went early morning there were a good... More

Interesting Day. Came to Derbyshire on a flying visit to see the relatives, addressed tripadvisor to see this as a top attraction in the area. Cable Cars were an experience; however we'd much rather be getting off at the top of a mountain to ski. To say it was raining we were impressed by how clean the cable car windows... More

We visited the Heights of Abraham during a very special birthday weekend. The cable car ride to the top starts off your visit in an exciting way. Both the cavern tour guides we saw (Josh and Edward) were very knowledgeable and friendly. The views from the top are amazing.

At first the price seem expensive but when you get to the top and see what's included, it's worth it. We managed 3 hours and didn't have to queue up for the cable cars or mine trips. So on a busy day and with children to take advantage of the play areas you can easily get a good day out... More

We didn't know what to expect, it was quite expensive but once we realised the attractions were free once at he top, it was well worth the money. The cave experience and the knowledge of the guide was brilliant. The cable car ride to the top offers fantastic views of the countryside, simply breathtaking. A great place to visit.
