We love the Floral Hall and visit many times each year. We walk the dogs on the beach and then lunch at the Floral Hall.
Last month I met my Vicar friend for our usual dog walk and lunch. We both parked as usual in the ‘free’ car park. Unfortunately we have now learned to our cost that a private company (Park View Ltd) is ‘policing’ the ‘free’ car park. Apparently there is now a time limit which we overstayed by 7 minutes... and duly received a fine of £120 each!!! A rather expensive lunch... and our last there! BEWARE!

This is a great local amenity. It feels so relaxed and welcoming, and the people who serve are so clearly part of the community. Lovely cafe food, tea and coffee. What's not to like?

We notified the office in advance as there were around 20 of us. We were amazed at the variety of tropical jungle foliage along with Koi carp, fruit trees, cacti, and that was just inside!
The outdoor area was amazing, our students spent hours having fun in this well kept jewel in the crown.
Thank you so much for welcoming us to the Highlands Botanical Gardens.

This is a real success story - threatened with closure the community took this place on and what a delight. It caters for the young - club nights every Saturday and cnat and knit for the perhaps slightly older patrons. There are film nights and a comedy club as well as local am dram productions and regular table top and antique fairs. This plae is an inspiration to all local facilities faced with closure as so many are. Well done to what must be a very hardworking committee.

I visited this place for the first time in years for a Civic functionand was impressed with the venue which is now in the hands of the community. This venue is on the whole run by volunteers for the community and what a great venue this is. Whether its for a Civic function, wedding or what ever the occasion they have it all. if its just a meal your after the food here can be great. It has a fantastic hall and stage area suitable for dancing, plays, groups concerts etc. An all round venue for all occasions well do to the team of this forgotten gem

We visited and had lovely freshly prepared food. Kitchen visible and staff so helpful and accommodating. Gluten free listed in the main menu. Lots of choices for hot dinner, snacks, puddings and cakes. Nut allergy, no problem. Gluten Free, no problem. Surroundings are a bit old-fashioned and it feels a bit like a school but great to have so much choice for medical diets.
We all had puddings and cakes. I was also able to take a huge piece of gluten free carrot cake home, wrapped up especially by the server.
