Sadly the winery known for its bread, wine and personal service did not live up to previous positive experiences. We had to taste in the bread making room, couldn’t sit to enjoy, and felt rushed by the gentleman serving us. Despite this and the purchase of six bottles, no explanation of the tasting fee and very small pours, the tasting fee was not waived!

The bread and wine are still both good, but weren’t worth the poor experience!

Friendly throughout visit... greeted us when we arrived, shared background of winery and bakery - delicious wine and bread pairing outdoors. Highlight of our day! Highly recommend. Get there early )before 11:15am) if you want to purchase bread on its own otherwise just bread tasting with the wine.

We had heard about the outstanding bread and wine pairing. The Bakery was indeed exceptional and wine very good.
However, there was heavy machinery operating the whole time we were there, and the tasting tent set up right beside?? Your in a gravel driveway with Canadian Tire tents above.
Very poor ambience.
I couldn’t hear a word she said the whole time.
We bought wine and bread and felt our tasting fees should have been waved due to the terrible ambience.
I would not return, with so many other options for wine tasting in this beautiful region of BC.
The bread however is worth a quick stop.

Well we have visited this winery a few times and whether we come for the bread or the wine it is always excellent. Today, though, it was extra special, we met Murray. We met Murray when I had a flat tire on my bicycle. Murray was kind enough to find his air pump to pump the tire, but when the air immediately leaked out, Murray was there with a replacement tube and tools to replace that tube. Murray, today you were my hero and all you asked in return was a big smile, well here it is 🥰.

You have to stop! For the bread, for the cheese and the wine! Really good experience on tasting wine and bread! Amazing bread and really good wine. A little bit of a rushed time experience due to the popularity but I would love to be able to taste this sitting down and with a bit of less rush to it. Never the less we got wine bread and cheese... so it’s a must go!

The French and Italians have been pairing their wines with bread for hundreds of years, so why shouldn’t we? This small, family owned winery is producing some very nice reds along with a bakery cranking out breads designed to be paired with their different wine varietals. They also have a great system worked out - outside - observing physical distancing. Parents can sip and savour, while the kids can race up and down the rows (see photo) We’ll be making this a stop on subsequent trips. Engaging team and owner

Very disappointed in the wine tasting at this winery Antonio, the individual that was looking after us, was more concerned with packing up the tables around us then, looking after us, he did give us our tray of bread which was good but he never told us one thing about any of the wines we chose to taste. We have been up here for five days and have done over 25 wineries and never have. We had this happen before no mention of the grapes where they’re growing where they’re from the wines the flavours the smells nothing it was get us in and get us out because they were closing within a half an hour. Another staff saw we were waiting and came over to offer us water but by this time we were done. Was very disappointed, out of all the wineries that we visited this week It is the only one that we did not make a purchase I’m sure if we had had more attention we certainly would have made a purchase. Paid for our wine tasting and left. I certainly hope the winery itself takes the time to read this review.

Although we had been encouraged to go in good time to get the bread accompaniment to the wine, we bought bread on arrival and then, were served bread during our tasting. Perhaps buy the bread after if you so choose?
The red wines were beautiful and rich in flavour. Would recommend. If you are sharing the tasting they tend to be small.

This was our last stop on our wine tour and would 10/10 recommend. Both staff and guests were well protected during the tasting with safety precautions in place. The bread pairings were the best part! Wine was great, some of my favourites . Make sure to go first if you want to guarantee buying a loaf to take home!! Staff were very friendly and efficient. Add this to your wine touring stops, it won’t disappoint :)

Highly recommended for the bread but they were sold out. Come early if that’s what you are after. The tasting’s were unorganized. 2 staff there and they weren’t too concerned about customers, but more about personal issues. Definitely understaffed. The outdoor tasting area is not very practical in the cooler/windy times. Would not return to this one, but would buy their wine again at a store.
