About
Our tasting room is open daily from May to October for personalized wine tasting, and for curbside pick-up of online orders from 11 am to 5 pm. Groups are limited to a maximum of 8 guests. At Maverick Winery, we know that wine is an investment in living: love, life, and good humour in bottled form. We are Mavericks —uncompromising in our pursuit and unrestrained in our enjoyment of exceptional wine. Maybe we’re unconventional, but we passionately believe that everyone deserves to drink exceptional wine. Established in 2009, Maverick Estate Winery is nestled against the western slope of the South Okanagan Valley on the picturesque "Golden Mile Slopes". Our pursuit of excellence and originality has led to the development of this unique vineyard site.

Kaitlyn is absolutely one of the best guides in the industry. She is so passionate about the wines and walked us through all the tasting notes, aromas, where and how the grapes were grown. So knowledgeable. She was an absolute pleasure to meet and to learn from. Maverick wine is amazing by itself but Kaitlyn definitely made the wine taste even better. 10s 10s 10s across the board.

Kaitlyn made our visit to this winery amazing. She is so knowledgeable, exuberant and likeable. We found out so much about this winery, how wines are made, food pairing, etc etc. We sampled quite a few different types of wine. On her suggestion, I tried the port. I am generally a white wine and rose drinker only... but I absolutely loved it. Maverick has some amazing wines. The friends we travelled with, are red drinkers, also loved the the reds/whites/port/rose. A great winery and definitely worth a visit. Ask for Kaitlyn.
A case of fabulous wine and a membership later, we left very impressed. We will definitely recommend this winery and will visit again. I am not sure if it is a hidden gem, but we hadn't heard of it. So glad we stopped in.

Maverick Estates has a beautiful tasting room but what was even better was Katelyn’s knowledge, personality and enthusiasm. Excellent experience.

Our experience was exceptional - Kaitlyn was our host. She was fantastic, exceptionally knowledgeable and funny. We loved the Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and the dessert wine. Would highly recommend stopping there and meeting Kaitlyn

We stopped here on our way to Osoyoos and it was a perfect stop. Joany, the lady who presented the wines, was just lovely! Unlike many other wine tastings this one is pretty flexible - if you’re not into red wine, there is no red wine in the tasting.

I've been a member of the Maverick Estate Winery wine club for at least 5 years and always enjoyed the range and quality of their wines.
Whenever we're in the Okanagan we book a visit to the tasting room and over the last couple of years this has resulted in personalized tasting experiences which we've thoroughly enjoyed and this year, use of their picnic area for a lunch we'd brought with us. Staff of the wine tasting provided us with welcomed ice water and glass ware on what was a typically warm, south Okanagan day.
We'll be back for visits in the future and look forward eagerly to each wine club shipment!

My husband and I love everything about Maverick Estate Winery;
the property is stunning - so modern, clean, and elegant!
The wine ambassadors are knowledgable, professional, and fun. Brenda explains most eloquently how their outstanding wines are made and blended. Telma is from Portugal, and demonstrates a beautiful European flare with her tastings. Caroline is the wine maker - and we often have the privilege of meeting her in the tasting room, too. Kai is the young gentleman - who coaches the F1 race car simulator. You can pick out your race car, the type of race track from all over the world you'd like to race on - and then feel the adrenaline rush!
The best part of Maverick Winery is taking home their exquisite wines to share with family and friends. There is truly something for everyone here ... and it is our new favourite winery!

We had an amazing experience at Maverick. Kaitlyn and Marion were very personable. Thank you for sharing your stories with us, Kaitlyn. We really enjoyed our visit and learning about the history of the winery and winemaking, in general. We highly recommend visiting Maverick on your next visit to Osoyoos.

We have done many wine tastings in and around Oliver and Osoyoos. We stopped at Maverick yesterday for a quick tasting and had the most amazing time. Kaitlyn did the tasting and was unbelievably knowledgeable about the industry, wine making and wine tasting. It was one of the most enjoyable wine tastings we have ever done. Would highly recommend Kaitlyn and Maverick.
