About
Having grown grapes for the last 20 years we have established ourselves as one of the premier award winning grape growers in the valley. Our story started with our family immigrating from India in the 1990's and making Okanagan our home. We have always worked to establish ourselves as hard working and determined family. The name Kismet is derived from the Punjabi word 'destiny'.

Have been going here every year for 13 years now. Amazing wine and the tasting room staff are great! No fees so you don't have to hold back! A must-do for your Oliver wine tasting trip!

The service was terrible in the wine shop, rude server and the wine only okay, the food was only okay (Indian Flame in Osoyoos much better food) and the service not good... the place was gorgeous looking... it's too bad. Such a let down.

This was a surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect - you just don't see or hear about many South Asians on wine tours or in wineries, let alone making the wines. These were really lovely. And, I like their pricing: $1 per tasting, you choose what you'd like to try; if you buy, your tasting fee is waived; if you don't, your fee is donated to the BC Children's hospital. After a week of reservations and rules, this walk-in winery with its reasonable fees, relaxed vibe, and approachable wines was really welcome. We walked out with a bottle of Kismet but really enjoyed most of the wine we tasted. Just disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open. I was really curious about pairing the wines with the Indian food. Maybe next time...

We stopped here on a recommendation from someone in Penticton.

We were very happy with the wine and hope to come to the restaurant next time we are in the area.

WE stopped at this winery because of the name: years ago I had played the Califf in a production of the musical Kismet! The tasting was nice and some of the wines very good, if a little pricey. We enjoyed and left with some liquid souvenirs.

Of the 5 wineries we visited, this was our favourite. The staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating, the wine Karma was great and lunch on the patio was very good.

Our reservation was for 630, and we were seated in the middle of a very large room. We were 5th customer. We asked to move to a side table and at first told no and then the server moved us. This restaurant seats everyone back to front as they come in. @#$% never seen this before. The room looks and sounds like a hall. We ordered wine and appies, thinking we would enjoy before our entrees. That didn't happen. Food was good. Portions were ample. We had finished dinner and our server said it looks like you are ready to leave, I was going to offer you dessert. Again @#$%. Great food but service needs improvement. We will order takeout next time.
