About
Intersection Estate is a 10-acre vineyard planted at high density on Oliver’s Golden Mile. Grapevine varieties are matched to the varying slope, aspect and soil composition to allow even ripening and honest expression of fruit flavors and aromas. The vineyard is cultivated with natural, sustainable, and organic farming techniques. Our winery is small, well-equipped, modern, and versatile. Gentle fruit handling and minimal intervention are key elements in winemaking informed by science, tradition, and constant observation. Intersection makes wines with no compromise, and represents a personal and intellectual challenge to raise the bar of quality and authenticity for Canadian wines.

We visited Intersection on the recommendation of several of the larger estate and smaller wineries we visited during our week long stay in Oliver. Don’t let this unassuming winery fool you, the wines and tasting experience were exceptional!
The staff was knowledgeable, engaging and warm and each wine we tasted was outstanding. The merlot grown side by side in different soil types and tasted side by side was so interesting and special.
A must visit for any wine lover!!

When you walk in, the industrial look makes you think more of a brewery than a winery but make no mistake , the wines are amazing! They are not afraid to push boundaries. The host was engaging and knowledgeable and explained their use of the natural variety of soil composition to produce different unique wines from the same grapes. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

If you are doing a wine tour in the area then you need to make sure you stop in here. The staff are not only fun and knowledgeable, but they are happy to share their yummy sippers. They have sold me on their Merlots, each bottle has its own inviting slurp that tells a story to my mouth. I love that they have some simple sippers or some more complex tastes that will go so well with your next BBQ. Need a bottle to gift, or a bottle idea to bring to your next dinner party? Then you can’t go wrong here, take your pick.

We were killing time before our lunch up the hill so popped in here. It was absolutely wonderful.

The host was great. Very knowledgeable.
And the wine, so fantastic. We really enjoyed it and it was also very affordable.

There was no cost for the tasting.

It was interesting that they have two merlots - everything exactly the same except the soil, and how different they tasted.

We will definitely make this winery a regular stop when we are up this way.

Highy recommend.

A must stop on your wine tour. Lots of tastings for the value. Enjoyed the wines, and Larry was an excellent host. We left more knowledgeable about the wine process. Thank you for a great experience!

My wife and I are frequent visitors to Osoyoos and we always make wine tasting a central part of our trips. Over the years, I honestly don’t know how many times we have driven past Intersection. On this particular day, we stopped in to kill some time between tastings. We were greeted by Tony, who invited us to the tasting bar. He alternated between our group of four and another group at the other end of the bar. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We are all lovers of Merlot and were blown away by both the quality and the affordability of the Merlots we were offered. Our only disappointment was that, because it was later in the season, not all of their Merlots were available. We will definitely be making Intersection one of our must visit wineries whenever we are in Osoyoos and will make a point of visiting earlier next year to sample all that they have to offer.

We spent over an hour in the tasting room yesterday, enjoying some spectacular wines. Our server did an outstanding job of sharing information about the various wines. What was particularly interesting was the side-by-side tasting of two different 2016 Merlots (Silica and Alluvial), both of which were produced from the same vineyard in the same year (2016) in exactly the same way, but which tasted quite different from one another; the only significant difference being the types of soil the grapes were grown in. Thank-you for the wonderful experience, the education, and the great wines that we brought home with us to enjoy in the future.
