3.5 stars today cause...
Course conditions were good today. Was super windy again like last yr but I shot as best I could considering the elements at hand.
Greens were well kept.
Service was good at the restaurant again.
This course would easily get a 4 to 4.5 stars, maybe even 5, IF more litter and trash was picked up out on the course! I could not believe it! A shoe box thrown away too was right near the clubhouse, come on now! I have never seen so much litter in the waste areas of a supposed to be top notch golf course! Elect someone to go and remove so much litter and trash! This would be a good GOOD thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus get a marshal to speed up the slow play please! Was so darn slow!

The Restaurant, Dinner. quite and not a very good ambiance but the service and food very good. Very good selection of beers, good selection of food on the menu. There was five of us and all said food was very good and large portions.

Exceptional course and thanks to more than usual rain was lush and very playable. My wife rode in the cart while I golfed. We were fortunate to join a great couple for a very enjoyable and entertaining front nine. Special summer afternoon rates make playing very affordable.

Paid for 18 for the two of us and for the first time ever I walked off the course after 9 holes as the pace was sooo slow. Course was great, greens were like slate, fairways immaculate, and rough was trimmed and playable. Loved the course. But we started off with lunch and it was a 25 minute ticket time, then found out they were out of carts, which delayed things even before we could tee off, and then when a cart was given to us the battery light was on the entire time and I was waiting for it to pack it in. Hot day, no shade on most tee box areas, and stacked 3 deep on almost every tee off. I am pretty patient, and usually don’t have issues with some slower courses, but this was painful. Top things off there was no course marshal and the bathrooms were filthy. I’ll give it a three as the staff were nice that I met, and the course was excellent. Definitely needs a bit of fine tuning though.

This is a privately-owned, publicly available golf course. Well-maintained & almost always in top shape. The greens are fast and hard and don't receive well. Beware of those front-flag placements. An interesting combination of 18 unique holes with varying degrees of challenge.
I would advise against anyone taking out a membership at the course. Members are a small part of the operation and are treated as such. Reasonable tee times are impossible for members to get during peak season and there are no member facilities.

Course was in pristine condition and staff were very welcoming. Well worth the cost to play this course. Will be back for years to come.

The times we have come up to eat after golf playing 9 and dine has been great . The staff and severs are great ,working hard through COVID restrictions. The staff Dealing with Covid have been busy and maybe a little over whelmed with all of the new protocols. They have been very accommodating, gives us our 6 feet space. It may not be a full menus through the pandemic, but we all ways had great appetizers, beers and pop. please have patience, understanding as navigating through these times are especially hard for staff and employers. SO give them a break, don’t be so picky and praise them for getting out there so that we can enjoy a night out. Looking onward to supporting your potion at least a couple times a week this year.

Worst experience ever in a restaurant. They put us at a dirty table on he patio.?said they would be back to clean it. Didn’t come back! Brought drinks for the table beside us, ignored us. Then brought the same table from I’d and ignored us again. Seated and served 6 tables that came after us. Still no one came to our table. After 15-20 minute went to find someone. Was told in and off hand , snotty tone, that they were busy L. I was waved to a dirty stack of menus.
I took a couple menus and a bar cloth to wipe the table. 20 minutes later (so 40 minutes now) still no one to even take a drink order. The people at the table said “unbelievable”
So we decide to leave. I decided to tell someone. While doing so a rude customer chimes in to tell me “so what, shut up and leave” I told him to mind his business. The waitress /mgr (not sure she wouldn’t identify herself) Does not say one word to stop him. After he verbally assaults me, unchecked, she ushers me towArd the front door. Like I had done something wrong?
She then says” We are busy ....! But I guess you have a erred idea how we should handle this. It’s done what are we supposed to do about it now”

I come to Oliver from Penticton just to play here. The greens are the best in the South Okanogan. It's rare to have a bad lie in the fairway. The desert area ate a few of my balls, but that's another story. Had a noon tee time and made it around in 4 hrs, never had to wait. Only issue was when we went for a beer afterwards the restaurant was packed like sardines. Felt uncomfortable to stay due to the closeness of everyone. 6ft spacing was closer to 3 :(

This is a great course. Well groomed and maintained. However, The course is not marshalled and VERY OFTEN the round is over 5 hours! Today (a Tuesday in late sept) took from 1130 to 4:45. Very frustrating especially when a simple thing like a Marshall could make ALL the difference! Osoyoos and Fairview never seem to have this problem. The members we golfed with were FABULOUS company and agreed this was not acceptable.

I am sorry that you had a slow round yesterday Rita. We had a group of 4 that significantly slowed down play. By the time it was brought to our attention, the damage was done. The group had very limited English and we tried to address this with them, however with much frustration they didn't understand. Our rounds are usually between 3:45 & 4 hours contrary to the statement that this happens "VERY OFTEN". This will occasionally happen on any and all public courses. We like to think our great reviews speak for themselves.
