Last time we golfed here was 25 years ago. Course is in beautiful shape just as it was before. Were really fortunate to be paired up with an awesome couple who were patient with my lack of golf technique and who knew the course well. Food available on the 10th and the sandwiches were pretty tasty and the prices were reasonable. Guys working in the clubhouse were friendly and the marshal/starter was very nice as well. Watch out for the 17th. Taking the golf cart down that path is treacherous and not for the faint of heart. Thought for sure we were going to tip the cart over and we were only barely coasting down the rough path. All in all a great time with beautiful views.

We walked the course and loved it. If you don't like a lot of exercise I would definitely take a cart because many holes have a lot of elevation change.
Beautiful course and well taken care of (although they did change our tee time without telling us and then the started yelled at use for being late)

CLGC is always a treat & did not disappoint. Scenic, great condition & friendly staff. Managed to play during week at about 1:00 pm when rates drop in under 4 hours each day.

Service at the club house was terrible...we had a group of 10 guys from a family reunion at Wasagaming wanting to do a round Saturday morning, when we called to book a tee time it was suggested by staff that we book 3 tee times starting at 6:30am, unfortunately it was raining and cold that morning and 4 of the group didn't come thinking the golf would be cancelled because of the conditions however staff insisted on charging us for 12 golfers. One guy in the group rented clubs and when he discovered that the rental clubs did not include a driver, he went straight back to the club house and was then accused of lying and trying to steal the driver. A driver was eventually provided however after using it on 2 holes the head came apart, again he went straight back to the club house to get a useable driver, where he was accused of misusing the club and told that he would have to pay for the $500 club. So.... nice course but club house staff haven't a clue how to treat its patrons, none of our group will return.

We golfed on a weekday and in front of us were 2 groups of young men and why do they allow then
M to take out their loud bluetooths while playing what is supposed to be a quiet game.
And with no cares when other groups are out hitting the ball they continued playing loud music.
No marshals out to stop them

The course itself is in great shape , fast greens and nice fairways as usual.

We had a great experience here. The food was cooked exactly to requests. Service was friendly, genuine and caring. Unbelievable rustic heritage building with a great view! Don't even think about eating at Elkhorn. This is the place to go for great food and a great experience!

Beautiful and challenging course. Much better condition than we expected at this time year. It was superb. Greens were immaculate and site could not be more perfect. Everyone friendly from staff to fellow players. We were even able to walk the course as we chose a day not as busy as most.

Played there last week and the course was in fabulous shape. The Pro shop staff are very friendly and helpful. The views around the course are great and, while short in length, offers a really good challenge for all handicappers!

Wide spacious course situated Riding Mountain National Park, a couple of hours north of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Great for beginners BUT the undulating fairways leave a large amount of ball lies which can challenge many experienced golfers. The Pro Shop is reasonably stocked and the staff are friendly. A couple of scenic short pitch holes (90 yards) and an extremely interesting blind tee off on a downhill dog leg right to a raised green (hole # 9) which begs you to come back and try again. Either way, walking or carting, it is very pleasurable. It is not uncommon to have a few "local residents" , such as deer, squirrels, an occasion black bear (closely watched by park wardens) check out how the golfers are doing. Even the odd crow will check out the quality of food if left out open on your cart! This scenic course is located on the shore of Clear Lake which has summer boat tours and plenty of water sports. Fishing is also an option. Close by horseback riding is also available. Our group has been coming from out of province to enjoy ourselves there on the long weekend in August for the last 14 years. We have already booked our accommodations for 2015. Sure you would also enjoy a round or two.

One of our favourite golf courses to come to each year. It's a beautiful treed course along side Clear Lake. The only downfall is it is a very busy course, so be sure to book a tee time ahead.
