We had an amazing almost 3-hour tour with Freeport Whlae & Seabird Tours. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, the captain was great at spotting whales. We saw two groups of humpback whales, lots of birds and seals. The sea was a bit rough, but the captain was adept and experienced. There was ample room on the boat to spread out, watch the whales, and take pictures - social distancing was not an issue.

The ocean was rough on our day, but the skipper chose to try and see how it was when we exited the bay. Fundy Bay tides ceated some seas as we were going out, but it calmed a little as we wen out into the bay. Saw several whales. Enjoyed the experience. We talked with several locals from the area who come back each year. The guide says that the number of whales is declining. She says that oil companyies want the decline so that they can drill for oil in the bay. You have to take two ferries to get to Briar Island. The drive and the ferries are enjoyable. Toilets in the ferries. You can get out and walk around.

I highly recommend this place. It takes longer to get to this place but it worth your money also they charge cheaper. Some boats don’t let u see or pass a lot of time with the whales. But this one yes!

What an amazing experience we had. Got to see 5 - 6 whales. They came up so close. Some even swam under our boat. Magnificent creatures. Captain Brady knew how and where to spot the whales and took us to the spots where the whales come to hang out to eat. Mandy who was narrating about the whales we saw and what birds we saw was very good with the info and interesting facts and made our adventure on the boat entertained. Qe really enjoyed our time with the team.

My friend and I booked this tour by chance the day before and it was simply AMAZING. This is one of the smallest ship that does this kind of tour, which is great because we are only 20 on the boat max. No one to block your shot of the beautiful whales. Captain Bradley and Mandy (sorry if I misspelled your names) were the best. She had so much information and fun facts about the whales and marine’s life and the Captain knew the best spots to find them. It was 3h of whale splashes and fun. We went back to our rbnb with big smiles on our faces and sunburned cheeks (note to self bring sunscreen even on a cloudy day). Thanks again for the adventure !!! Cecile and Gaelle
