This is a great dive centre. The organisation is excellent from start to finish and the resort is very well run. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the DMs go out of their way to give you the best day's diving they can. They know the dive sites extremely well and really think about how to plan a day according to tides and conditions to maximise your chances of seeing things. There is a genuine enthusiasm for showing people life beneath the sea which comes across in all they do. Thanks to everyone for a great trip, especially all the dive guides Simon, Khai L, Afat and Penny. Look forward to seeing you next time!

Super cool staff even from the office in Semporna all the way to the island. Took the Discover Scuba and Snorkeling packages, and the dive master Along, and snorkeling guide Affad (forgive me if I get your name spelling wrong) were very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend those who want to try scuba diving for their first time. Just a heads up; once you go for the dives here in Mabul and Sipadan island, you will need to lower the bench mark for your next dives as this place is sooo beautiful.

I did my divemaster with Scuba Junkie and it was a great experience from start to finish. Of course diving was amazing. The instructors, Diana, Peggy, Kai and Lizzie were magic. Dive guides, Kai ☺, Kai legend, Afat and AG all have eyes everywhere and were a pleasure to dive with. Marc and Penny manage the resort super professionally and were great to deal with. Uli and the maintenance crew were fun and I can't wait to get back when the jetty bar is finished. Bar staff Musa and general do everything Adz were great. Bar was fun and lively. They made me welcome from the start. I'm a junkie for life.

I went to Mabul with a group of friends (7 in total). I wasn’t sure what to expect, however I left exceptionally impressed. Still in the RMCO stage of Covid-19, the staff were great at ensuring SOPs were in place whilst we could still have a fantastic time. The food was fulfilling and was different every day for every meal. The bar was well stocked. The rooms were spacious, clean and had excellent aircon. Most importantly I felt safe at all times on the island and underwater. A HUGE shoutout to Marc who was managing the place just beautifully and to Kai Smiley, Simon and Kai Pumpkin who I had the pleasure of diving with and felt extremely safe and also to Uli who helped us spot some hammerheads! We felt like we were in great hands throughout every dive. Their knowledge of the dive sites was exceptional, they didn’t skip a thing regarding safety procedures and had great humour. Truly impressed. I’ve been to many centres across Asia, Europe and the Carribean and never come across such a well run centre. We will be back. Thank you. You are all doing such a fabulous job!

Having Sipidan as a must see dive location is on every serious divers wish list. unfortunately I chose Scuba Junkies to experience it with. Very busy company, maybe 30-40 people diving over several boats. As a DM with hundreds of dives, I was duddied (not a typo) with a newly qualified advance open water with 6 dives total. Had to share my air and bring her to surface when she showed me 5bar at 30m halfway through a dive. I am paying for these dives not to be an additional DM. The checkout dive, I mean really. I should not have to pay for that. sandy bottom with some man made structures. Basically float around prove you can dive. I understand with that volume of customers they need a safe place to check people out, but at least try to find a reef or something slightly interesting. Dive guides were ok, preferred working with the locals. The expats seemed to be on a working holiday and treated it as such, not very professional, dismissive, and occasionally rude. Overall the dive gear and procedures were safe, organisation of diving was smooth, just too busy and un-personalised. Probably great for a young single traveler looking to meet like minded people.
