Nice 13 the century town hall
Feb. 2018 • Solo
A really nice 13th century medieval town hall, called the Arengario, sits with its beautiful arches and red brick structure. It is typical of the north western part of Italy where it is usually called Broletto.

The old town hall
Nov. 2017 • Solo
If I didnt misunderstood a man who lives in Monza this building was the first town hall. It was build in the 13 century. Located in the Piazza Roma. In the 14 century the clock tower was build in extra. Interesting building. Outside the building it was a kind of info market where I saw people was signing something. Much people around the building this sunday. I think it was some marked days in the town.

Wonderful medieval building in warm brick
Jun. 2016 • Couples
The Arengario is one of Monza's great medieval landmarks. It is located on the pedestrian mall facing which most of Monza's fashion boutiques face. It is now used as a gallery for travelling exhibitions. Its brickwork is a warm, mellow colour and very beautiful.

okay, but not really important to see
Apr. 2016 • Solo
This building is lovely to look at from the outside, but kind of hollow and vacant inside. It's use now is primarily for art exhibitions, and while these can be interesting, if you are not there for that in particular, you will be let down, as little is left of the buildings spirit once you are inside of it.

Stunning at night

Monza is a hidden Jewel and not many people visit this small city. The Arengario is the focal point where different shopping streets lead off. It is the old Town hall of Monza and dates back to the 13th century. There are often exhibitions inside and one of Monza s historic bars is in front of it. A great place to pop in for a coffee and excellent brioche.
