This museum used to be the house of one of major writers of Turkish literature, Sait Faik Abasiyanik. He spent his last years in this house and this is where he wrote many of his masterpieces. Upon his death, he donated the house to Darüşşafaka...More

A very well presented museum, free to the public. Only drawback is the lack of English descriptions (only the brochure has English). Even if you don't read Turkish or know of the author, well worth the 5 minute walk from the ferry station.
