This is not a cheap visit but the setting is not just about the caves. The tour is interesting and the surrounding attractions held the kids interest for the day that we were there. Beautiful part of the country to visit.

Probably one of the worst attractions I have ever visited. We felt totally ripped off as we paid full price at the gate. The "20" attractions is misleading and the place is run down. The entry price is way too high for what you get and the largest part is a rubbish Arcade. The caves are disappointing. They are indeed... More

Dear Tilly871, Thank you for your review. You are quite right in your assessment; our caves, as all caves, are a hole in the ground. I am sorry you didn’t enjoy our world famous cave system buried deep beneath the Mendip Hills. The caves have been marvelled at by hundreds of millions of visitors over the years, and people have... Having read the mixed reviews of Wookey Hole we approached our visit with our two grandchildren (9 and 13) with some apprehension. We were however pleasantly surprised. OK, some of the smaller attractions are a little old fashioned but overall this is a great place to spend at least half a day with children. Due to road works on our... More

We were unsure whether to visit with a 6 year old and an almost 2 year old, but we're so glad we did! We had a fantastic, fun-filled day with two exhausted children at the end of it. We started the day with a guided tour around the caves, and the guide made sure everyone was there before she spoke... More

Was in area so decided to see wookey hole. It was interesting, but not overly spectacular. The path is quite rough in places and a bit damp. As its dark you have to watch your footing on steps. You could really smell the cheese in the cave. Quite a lot of the outside attractions are aimed at children and there... More

We arrived at Wookey Hole for it opening at 10am and it was even busy then so glad we went early! Used a 25% off voucher from VoucherCloud which brought the price to just over £50 for 3 adults and a child - not too bad - but worth every single penny! A short walk up a steepish hill takes... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our day here recently. Mixture of ages from 2 years up to 50! The park is better catered for youngsters i.e. ten years and below but still interesting to anyone older, getting the history of the caves and paper making etc.

Fantastic caves, absolutely magical... Simple great... First experience of a 4d cinema, unimpressed but that is just me... Lovely mirror maze and old penny arcade... Bad points... Ridiculously expensive gift shop, same things as at Cheddar Gorge but for triple the price.
