This is a wonderful sanctuary of peace and quiet with lovely walks, lots of wildlife and fresh air. Go early to avoid the crowds, especially during school holidays, and beware the bikes!! Very dog friendly, clean loos and a little cafe too.

Large area, mixed terrain with something for everyone - nothing too steep though. Good car park and cafe; check the winter opening times of the information centre.
