Beautifully landscaped gardens which provide a wonderful haven for red squirrels and a variety of birds. Must be stunning when the rhodedendrons come out in Spring. It includes a small museum and a playground too which our grandsons had great fun on.

Stunning gardens. Pristinely well kept and very enjoyable to walk around. Cost £10 for two adults which goes towards the upkeep and there is a little cafe there too. If yours in the area then it is well worth a visit

We spent a serendipitous day wondering around the beautifully sunny gardens exploring all the plants, museum room and walks. Such a beautiful estate to visit. We finished the visit off with an afternoon tea at the Kildrummy Castle Hotel and were not disappointed. Recommended!

Lovely gardens, peaceful and picturesque. You can easily fill a morning or afternoon here, pack a picnic and let the children explore. Simple play area, lots of paths and neuks and crannies to find. Great place for an egg hunt. Some paths are stoney so a baby carrier is best rather than a pram.

The gardens are beautiful! Very well maintained and lovely for a walk along the little river and under the bridge. There is a play area for children which we didn't visit as we only had a short time before our meal at the hotel but there are loads of benches and a little museum packed with artefacts.

These are approached via a different entrance to the castle, but are very impressive and set on a steep site, so good views all around. Well worth a visit.

Staff were kind to let us in half an hour before opening when we visited. This is a nice little garden for a quiet wander around on a summers day. The history is very interesting though the museum seems to be a collection of 'stuff', and also a place for anyone to store anything large (e.g. a postbox and a... More

In keeping with many Highland gardens, Kildrummy is at its best in late spring. That said, the mature gardens are a pleasure at anytime. Easily accessed and close to the eponymous hotel the combination is clear and well worth trying.
