This winery is one of the most beautiful I have ever been too. I love the experience out under the trees and Ecqhart is very knowledgable and makes your visit very informative and enjoyable. Bring a charcuterie and fresh fruit for first class experienc e. We are repeat cumtomers at this winery and are never disappointed! Give this winery full stars!

The best tour of a Vineyard we’ve ever had. Eckhard spent a lot of time with us and we had a beautiful walk a walk around the vineyards afterwards. It’s a spectacular spot with a wonderful host and very good wine. We hope to be back.

What a supreme privilege to have such a gem in the Sea to Sky! You get the luxury of a private experience in a relaxed, stunning setting, enjoying the company of Eckhard's time before an intimate picnic on your own terms.

Totally unpretentious, severely underrated, and a screaming good value. The good dog in need of belly rubs is just a bonus.

This is the only commercial wine I have seen which labels the ppm of sulphates. I can't remember the last time I confidently enjoyed a bottle of red wine without worrying if I'll be able to breathe through my nose later.

My only complaint is that I didn't know about this place sooner.

We had the most amazing afternoon at Cliff and Gorge winery! This was definitely the highlight of our time in Lillooet. Eckhard greeted us upon arrival and took us to the most picturesque little seating area where we sampled his amazing collection of wines and chatted about his story and how he came to set up this fantastic place. Eckhard is so interesting and you can really tell how passionate he is about what he does and you tell by the quality of the wines also. After he allowed us to have some lunch and take a stroll around he breathtaking property which has some of the best views the area has to offer. We concluded with another little chat which was the perfect end to a perfect afternoon. If you are staying in Lillooet or just passing through, ensure you make time to check this place out.
Thanks again Eckhard!

Absolutely loves the wine tasting experience and being able to sit and chat with the winemaker. Eckhard has a passion for wine making that was both fascinating and educational. It’s a bit out of the way but worth the time to visit and discuss this
emerging wine destination. Loved both the wine and the location.

I recently had the pleasure of spending time at Cliff and Gorge as part of a girls' weekend. Eckhardt set up a beautiful tasting for us at a long table in the shade of a big willow tree. The wine was excellent (the Petit Milo was my favorite) and Eckhardt was a fantastic host. We were treated like VIPs! The 'by appointment only' tasting meant that we had the tasting area to ourselves and were able to take our time, savor each wine, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Eckhardt and Deanne were even able to set up a helicopter tour of the local mountains and river valley for us. Scott from Blackcomb Helicopters landed on the field beside the tasting area and whisked us away above the mountains - what an experience!

We came here as a family for my parents 60th birthday and I can’t even begin to explain what a special place this is. This is the best vineyard I’ve ever been too… also the gorge walk is unbelievable.

Every part of our visit to Cliff and Gorge winery was so special - Eckhard's company, the delicious wines, the majestic scenery, the walking trail, the serenity and the one lane gravel road part of the way. Each year we check out at least 8 wineries in BC and Cliff and Gorge is definitely now one of our most memorable experiences.

Eckhard was very knowledgeable and personable. He conversed with us for over an hour. We enjoyed our visit tremendously. The property the vineyard is situated on is spectacular! Beautiful views of the gorge. The wine is very tasty and well-priced. Will definitely be visiting again.
