Had and fun and informational day on the water. Caught a lot of smaller rainbows and a nice big Brown on muddler minnow streamers and elk hair caddis dries. The bigger fish were subdued apparently by a strong hatch the day before but Kenzie worked hard and we had a great time. Cheers

Kenzie took a friend and me out on a drift boat down the Cowichan River. He supplied all the gear as well as lots of instruction on how to cast. As this was my first time fishing from a drift boat and as an inexperienced fly caster, I had low expectations for myself. Fortunately for me, Kenzie taught me an awful lot! I had a couple bites and one lost in the morning. However, in the afternoon, I caught several brown and rainbow trout. My friend also caught lots of rainbow and brown as well as a cutthroat. As the day was coming to its conclusion, Kenzie had me cast out towards where he saw a sizable trout jump. 4 casts later, it was on my hook. I reeled it in and ended up with a 5 - 6 lb brown trout to finish an amazing day. I would recommend this experience to anyone who loves the great outdoors, fishing and good company!

Great day, saw fish, caught fish and learned some new tips that I have immediately put into practice. I've fly fished with other guides in Nova Scotia, New Zealand and BC and by far Kenzie is my favorite. He and Kyt organize and supply everything necessary for a great day on the very special Cowachin River.

Kenzie is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I had a great day on the water. He had 4 rods rigged in the boat to ensure that ALL possible presentations were ready to go. His boat is top notch. Highlights were a landing a nice brown and getting perfect view of large steelhead in the river.

My buddy and I booked a drift on the Cowichan River and it was simply the best,
We hooked into a massive Steelhead, caught countless beautiful trout and had an amazing adventure drifting the river. Kenzie's fishing and guiding knowledge is superb and he's a great person as well. The entire day was top notch. I've already booked a second trip!!

We spent a day drifting the Cowichan with Kenzie and the day could not have been more perfect. Kenzie is a highly skilled and knowledgeable guide who is very patient and helpful with beginners

we fished for steelhead, had one real good hit on the first day, weather was cold and they were not active, but we caught a dozen trout including a 22 inch brown. the lunch was fabulous thanks to Kyt and Kenzie is a great guide with experience

Kenzie is a fine guide with terrific knowledge of the Cowichan River fishery. They have a great set up for two drifts a day and covering tons of water...thus lots of fish!
