Visited the Dark Horse Winery twice this summer, once just to shop, and the second time to experience the tasting. Really focused on wines produce from grapes grown at the farm vs. those purchased from Niagara. Really enjoyed the Marquette - this isn't a common grape in Ontario, and Dark Horse has produced a lovely wine. The Rose is also well worth buying, solid berry flavours coming through. The building itself is very grand, with a patio outdoors including an outdoor pizza oven.

My friend and I went to sit outside for Resiling&Charcuterie on Saturday. It was gorgeous there was a beautiful sunset! The staff were lovely. They were so friendly and helpful especially Liz! We had to buy some wine to take home before we left, it was so tasty and paired well with the charcuterie! It gets booked up quick, so book ahead of time. Great views & people!

This was my third time coming to Dark Horse. The last two times were in the summer and they have a beautiful patio that looks over the vineyard. The food is quite tasty and service is always very kind and inviting. This last time my partner and I did a wine tasting and stayed for a charcuterie board. Our guide was very informative and we both took away some valuable information about the winery, Ontario's wine regions and wine itself. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area. We will definitely be back!
