Was in the area and thought that the family would just take a quick walk to the beach. Big mistake! Not only were there tons of teens and early twenty-somethings yelling, swearing smoking god knows what and vaping. I didn't really need to explain some...More

This. Beach provides a safe and excellent access to one of the largest GREAT LAKES. It’ has a great beach house with acces to washrooms and showers. There’s also a great roof view point to see the whole beach.

Haven’t been to Grand Bend Beach in years. Fast forward to Sept.22, 2018. Had to kill some time and decided to check out the beach. I was really impressed by all the positive changes - the maintenance, a beautiful clean beach, rejeuvenation of the sand...More

Grand Bend Beach is large and sandy. Sadly for us though, there were no facilities such as beach chairs or beach umbrellas. As we are from England, we obviously couldn't provide our own. There are shops along the way where you can purchase them, but...More

The beach was nice, very busy but a nice destination. Be warned that when parking you should only pay using credit card. Otherwise the Municipality will issue you a parking infraction even after you have purchased parking for the day. They will then accuse you...More

There is parking right beside the beach, it's pay parking. There is some free parking that is somewhat of a short walk to the beach.
