Located just 15 minutes from Charlottetown, Stanhope Golf & Country Club overlooks the cliffs of Covehead Bay, PEI, and is just minutes from north shore National Park beaches. In the heart of the "Beaches" tourism area, this mature, well-maintained PEI golf course has been in play since 1970. Designed by Robbie Robinson, it has a definite "links" feel that offers all golfers a true test of skill while still providing genuine enjoyment.

Friendly and supportive pro shop helped get us fully outfitted quickly and spontaneously for great 9 holes. Course was busy enough but relaxed and had most fun golfing in a long time. Pleased to see that young players welcomed. Very reasonable course fees and rentals...More

Really enjoyed the course. Very pretty, with a number of holes on the water. Challenging but fair. Nice wide fairways. In quite good shape. Not as well known as some of the destination courses, but definitely worth playing (and much easier on the wallet)

Friendly staff to greet us. A couple of nice views of the water. Overall the course was in average shape. A couple of greens were under repair. Fairways were ok. Course is long for the average female golfer. Good for a recreational round.

Unlike some PEI courses (Green Gables, for instance), Stanhope doesn't charge excessive greens fees. Many of the holes have water views and you are likely to see a fox or two on your round. Stanhope has a very local flavor rather than a touristy vibe....More

I played two rounds at this course. It is a seaside layout. Wind is a constant element to consider. Services were very friendly. Rates were reasonable. It was fairly busy when I played in the afternoon. Mostly locals. Lots of 90 degree doglegs so check...More

Have played several times over the years and find it fun, particularly the holes requiring hitting a tee shot over a fair amount of water. Not a difficult course, but enough challenge to entertain. We return whenever we stay at Stanhope Campground. The breakfast is...More
