As one reads in the Carolyn012 review below, my wife and I also own two of Heather's works. I have never seen anything like them. She really knows how to portray her native Maritimes. And the depiction of both light and shadow in her seascapes is absolutely stunning. Our paintings are now framed and hanging proudly in our Vancouver living room. And Heather's studio in Stanhope on P.E.I. is worth a look. It is in a beautiful setting not far from the ocean to the north of the island. And many of Heather's original paintings are also available as either a numbered copy or a print. There is something lovely for any budget.

My husband and I both love Heather's style and subject matter. We have started a collection of her work, which we have proudly on display in our Montreal home, and our old farmhouse on the Island. The studio is a must-go-see. Heather's artistic talents extend to gardening, and there is a magnificent garden on her idyllic piece of property in Stanhope.

I had Heather outfit our hotel with her art. She was very mindful of our needs, and took careful attention to ensure we had exactly what we needed to make our hallways look good! Heather was incredibly professional to boot! Oh! And her art work! I love all the pieces featuring sea shells, and boats. Her use of colour is masterful, and really compliments any wall. Definitely check out her shop!

We have two of Heather's watercolour paintings adorning our walls and enjoy them daily. We particularly like her landscapes of the island with ocean and sand views. Some of her recent floral paintings are beautiful also. Her art gallery in Stanhope is well worth a visit to see what she has on offer. She has paintings in various sizes and price points. If you aren't ready for an original, she also has framed prints that are lovely and quite reasonably priced. You can find her paintings in other locations such as The Dunes, but the best selection and best prices will be at her studio. She is conveniently located as well. If you like to collect art, or want a memory to take home of your PEI vacation, this is the place to go.

After our Dalmation passed away a few years ago I commissioned Heather to paint a portrait - one of the best decisions made as you can see from the attached photo of the painting of Moondance. Heather now has a small studio in Stanhope, PEI showing her collection of original watercolours. While somewhat off the beaten path (what isn't in Prince Edward Island but that's why you're there and it is a scenic drive) Heather's studio is well worth a visit. Her excellent website will provide you examples of a number of beautiful original watercolours as well as many prints ranging from lighthouses, boats, seascapes, shores and shells, cottages, gardens, and cats ... to Moondance. If in the Stanhope area be sure to visit Heather and perhaps take home a wonderful print, or original painting.
