Pinot heaven! No SO2 range also heavenly! Super premium wine which has been minimally handled so as to express the terroir and allow the liquid sunshine to have its voice, truly delightful Great hospitality from Norm and Owen, plus a warm welcome from the extended (canine) family Beautiful outlook of the surrounding valley and vines No negatives

Pleasant time chatting with Norm who has spent most of his life in the wine industry. A beaut selection of boutique wines made on site. Lovely vista across the plains from the cellar door which can also do weddings and functions. Not bulk production and prices reflect this. Will return. Don't forget to say hi to Yoda the dog!

The Eastern Peake vineyard is simply a must visit in the area. We met Owen on NYE and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality tasting we did: a beautiful and distinct Chardonnay, a very promising Pinot Noir 2013 and the special Pinot Noir O.B. 2011. You can feel the passion and love for his craft when Owen talks about... More

Norm Latta started the Pinot legend of Ballarat, and the winemaking has now passed to son Owen. The quality and flavour remains unchanged, and is nothing short of sensational. Do not arrive expecting a "cheap" Pinot, because in the world of Pinot Noir "good" or "great" does not equate with "cheap". Some of these gems can be drunk now, but... More

An amazing winery on the doorstep of my family home - what a stunning surprise. Norm and Owen really know what they're doing: true respect for the terroir, and the wines are going from strength to strength - it's only a matter of time before they are recognised nationally. I hope that happens, but I have mixed feelings, because it's... More

We met Norm who is a lovely man and who let us taste his lovely wines. A real character! It is a boutique winery so wines are priced $ for good reason. He gave my friend and I lots of recommendations to eat in Daylesford and Melbourne. He is a fountain of knowledge. Thank You!!

If you haven't been out to cellar-door then you haven't lived. Norm, Di and Owen will make your visit memorable with their passion and knowledge of the region. And well... Eastern Peake wines exude quality through and through. With an expanded tasting room the upcoming Long Lunch in March should be a fabulous event. I have enjoyed the WineMakers lunches... More

What a wonderful experience visiting Eastern Peake Vineyard was: the wines were all of exceptional quality - and the 2010 O.B. Pinot Noir vintage has to be amongst the best in the world! I also loved meeting Norm and his son Owen, who has inherited his father's knowledge and passion for wine-making. We were privileged to be offered a 'barrel... More

Beyobd the pretty Victorian town of Daylesford is this winery. We were directed to it by quite a few sources in the town. Whilst then in process of renovation we were highly entertained by winemaker Norman Latta who trotted out a number of thier wines and vintages for our selection, keeping us entertained all the while with stories of the...
