We booked online at bookme for a much better price. Yes it is crowded. Everybody of the village is there. Still enough space and different pools. Clean toilets and showers

As weary travellers, we enjoyed our visit to the pools. Staff were friendly. Although a bit pricey, we would come again.

It's certainly a nice tourist feature, however I wouldn't mark it as a must have detour on a tight schedule round trip

Fantastic thermal pools offer up to 42 deg different tempratures..It was a bit pricey 24 $ each...which is a lot, compared with the same idea in Spain which was 8$ at a place called Banos de Fortuna near Murcia

We stopped over at Hanmer Springs on a drive from Mount Cook to Picton after a couple of long hikes. The Springs were the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate, I would highly recommend the hexagonal pools.

The hot springs were nice and very well laid out. Lots of different pools to go in and it wasn't too busy when we went. The slides are only for kids - actual kids. I'm a 30something year old child but they are very basic...More

Hi, the freshwater pool is 25 metres long. Just note that we have one lane roped off for lap swimming most days - the exceptions are public holidays (and the weekend attached to public holidays), and school holidays.
