- Alyssa H5 contributionsA Truly Memorable Experience. To say that Keefer Lake Lodge made our wedding truly memorable would be an understatement. I will admit that I've struggled for some time to find the right words that could accurately describe our experience at Keefer Lake Lodge. Nestled on Keefer Lake, Keefer Lake Lodge offers backcountry comfort like no other. The staff not only went above and beyond to meet any needs that we had (bridal emergencies included) but they left us all feeling like a little part of their Keefer Lake family. If you haven't had the opportunity to experience Keefer Lake, it's breathtaking views, or the hospitality and food that the lodge has to offer, you are MISSING OUT! Chef Nick and the team working with him on our wedding weekend, created a menu that will be remembered for years to come. I can honestly admit that I doubt I'll find food (especially pizza) that could live up to the phenomenal dishes we had the pleasure of eating. My husband and I would also like to extend our never-ending gratitude to Brooke, who helped us make sure that every little wedding detail was what we wanted and took soooo much stress off our shoulders. You are the best. I can guarantee that if we have the opportunity to experience Keefer Lake Lodge and all it has to offer again, you can count us in!Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten October 22, 2023

- Angie A1 contribution10/10 VenueAbsolutely stunning venue! From the moment we arrived at Keefer Lake Lodge for a walk through and lunch, it was clear that this place was perfect for our special day. The setting was breathtaking, with beautiful landscapes and meticulously maintained grounds that created a magical backdrop for our ceremony and reception. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, making every detail seamless and stress-free. They truly went above and beyond our expectations. The on-site catering also exceeded our expectations with delicious food and impeccable service. Our guests are still raving about the experience. We stayed a full weekend and enjoyed all the amenities the place had to offer from paddle boarding, kayaking, spike ball and many more actives. If you're looking for a venue that offers elegance, exceptional service, and unforgettable memories, this is the place. Highly recommend! - Heather K5 contributionsAmazing Bachelor/Bachelorette WeekendWe had our combined Bachelor/Bachelorette party at Keefer and it was absolutely amazing! They pulled out all the stops for us to have the perfect weekend with our friends. The dinners were delicious, the group especially loved the wood-fired pizza from the outdoor pizza oven. The staff are absolutely phenomenal during the planning and throughout the weekend and the location is gorgeous. Highly recommend Keefer for any event such as an extended family get-together, a special event celebration or a gathering of friends. Will be back for the cat skiing!Visited September 2024Travelled with friendsWritten September 13, 2024

Didn’t have what we paid for!!!!
We were two couple in a group of twelve .
Nicole sold to our group leader , ten sigles rooms and two suite with king bed .
When we arrive they denying that what Nicole said to our leader and she don’t said us , said they have only two room ( king bed )
Day after the maneger told us they have more rooms with king bed , but they’re occupied .
What a bad felling to don’t have what we paid for and being lie when you arrive .
They give us single room for two.
Ski terrain not terrible , long run in cat ski for short run of ski.
If l compare with my last year catskiing trip at Selkirk catsskiiing ,
We paid $1000 dollars less for 5 ski days and 6 nights in a 5 stars places.
At Keefer lake $1000 more for 4 ski days and 4 nights at a place they want your money and Don’t care about you.
Try somewhere else !!!

We are sorry that you feel you received less than you paid for. We do our best to accommodate all rooming requests that we receive but rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
As your group lead mentioned when we all sat down at the lodge - no request for King rooms was ever made. The main lodge (which houses our king rooms) was booked by a private group, before your booking was made. Your group lead let me know that he had 2 couples in his group, so we ensured you were staying in the largest of our Queen rooms. We often have couples stay in these rooms and have never had an issue.
You mentioned to us that night that you didn't feel that you got what you paid for because you only received one room each. We pointed out that all of our pricing is based on double occupancy - this is clearly stated on our website and all documentation. What was sold to your group was 10 Queen rooms. In an effort to keep you happy, we gave you each a second Queen room to use as you chose.
It is unfortunate that we were unable to satisfy you.

EPIC!
It was a pleasure working with you and sharing the Keefer goods. Your excitement through the entire booking process, the shear joy on your faces when you walked into the lodge and then of course, the complete mind-blow by the end of your stay, is why we do it all. We hope to see you again!

There are a ton of reviews on the lodge experience, they are all true and the Keefer staff works really hard to ensure your lodge experience will be nothing short of amazing.
I want to capture the work they have done in the off-season leading up to 2020 season. In 2019 I did a 4-day tour with 4 friends and when I returned to the Keefer Lodge in 2020, the changes were instantly noticeable. The outdoor apres ski kitchen with a wood fired pizza oven was phenomenal. There is some special about getting off your cat to a a wood fired pizza and a cold beer to wash it down. Not only were their great changes at the lodge, the changes in the terrain were huge and well thought out. In 2019 I would have said they lacked the glading (tree removal) that the more established cat operations have done. Well, in 2020 they completely changed that. The amount of glading they have done to open up a number of their runs is incredible. They have created wide open steep runs that just keep going and going. I love tree skiing, that's where the jumps are, but there glading is amazing and set them up for wide open steep, waist deep powder runs.
Job well done by all the staff at Keefer.

I'm a little reluctant to rave about Keefer for fear that it will get more discovered than it already has. But it would be a disservice to owner Scott Gostlin and his amazing team to not give them their proper due. If there is a better cat skiing operation or whatever operation in North America I'd like to know about it. And I doubt it. They have perfected all the right 'touches' with the guest besides having unbelievable terrain and A+ guides Felt very safe and that is super important when back country skiing. Safety is #1 and the Keefer guides are dialed.Chris, Same, Clayton and team are top shelf. The food, ambiance and the overall vibe at Keefer is the best I've ever experienced and I've been at a lot of lodges. Well done! And for those of you reading this you can forget about about 1/14 - 1/18 in 2021. We're coming back and already booked!

I love that you mentioned our vibe, that is the best part of Keefer - outside of the steep and deep terrain! We had a great time with you this year and are super excited to host you and your friends in a private cat next year (and every year after)!
See you soon!

The best weekend of my life! Unbelievable powder snow, incredible guides, and amazing terrain made it the foremost cat skiing operation in the world. I strongly recommend Keefer Lake Lodge for any skier or snowboarder. The food was world class, drinks and bar service was phenomenal. The cats are by far the most comfortable and luxurious cats anywhere worldwide. The glove warmers are an unbelievable treat. You gotta get there!!

Keefer Lake Lodge is incredible. After my third trip there, I have confirmed it is my favorite place to go cat skiing in British Columbia! The terrain is amazing, I have had incredible powder skiing there. I think Keefer has some of the longest runs of any cat operation with some runs over 2,000ft long! They have also done amazing work with runs and gladding so the tree skiing is fantastic. The lodge is incredible. Uber luxury, Keefer has thought of everything. Meals are fantastic, including hot soup and yummy salads available for lunch in the cat. When you return from a day of skiing, you are greeted with a warm lavender towel and fresh pizza right from the pizza oven! Jeff, the owner and all the guides are amazing and the staff at Keefer makes sure you have everything you need and want, plus more! Don't miss this place! It is amazing!

I have been to a lot of cat operations and Keefer Lake Lodge is right up there with the best...if not the BEST already. Being that they are only a few years in operation they have accomplished so much. The only run two cats. Great terrain which is only going to get better and better. The are expanding the terrain each year. Beautiful, luxurious lodge and accommodations. Spacious rooms. Incredible meals! Nicest Cat I have ever been in....there are individual heaters for your gloves and helmet between runs. At the end of the day you exit the cat to an outdoor bar area with a fire pit and heaters while they serve you fresh brick oven gourmet pizzas and cocktails. Only to go inside for more appetizers. Jeff the owner has dedicated himself to building the premiere cat operation in North America and I would say he is easily on his way to accomplishing just that. The staff is equally amazing! Great time!

Wow. Who knew? Get in on this gem ASAP before everyone finds out. The only reason I hesitated about writing this is because I’d like to keep it a secret. But Jeff deserves better. This place is as good as it gets…oh and the cat skiing is off the boards as well.
The terrain covers 110 ski runs, many over a mile long and across 2 incredible mountains. The snow is deep and light. Bowls, trees, gullies etc. Views out of this world. The guides couldn’t be more helpful. Their priority is safety but fun is their goal. They meet u where u are and make your trip an experience u won’t ever forget. The cats are like Cadillac Escalades…so comfortable and no detail is overlooked. The lodge is spacious and beautiful as are the guest rooms. The staff goes above and beyond and smiles are everywhere. The dinners are some of the best I’ve ever had and they’ll cook you whatever you want for breakfast. The pack lunches are delicious too, especially the hot soup after a nice long run. The happy hour by the outdoor fire includes freshly made wood oven pizza and stupendous cocktails made by Matt the bartender. You get the picture? I hope so. Book your trip now. It will be a memory of a lifetime. Stephen S

Again, we had a great week of deep powder skiing. A lot of investments in glading made a big difference. The guides were very good at pointing us towards the best lines and the deepest powder. The food, prepared by head chef Michael and his crew, is oustanding. Jeff and his staff are amazing hosts and run a solid ski program. Too bad Loki is on the sidelines this year. We will surely be back.
