This is an Amazing place in India, If you went there before 7 o clock then u can enjoy the sun rising and climate. Top View of Madikeri is extraordinary. Its like a switzerland of India

Went on rainy day , loved the view. Jeeps run from Abbey falls to mandalpatti (1500) but it's worth if u r all eyes for scenic beauty . Had enjoyed throughly with light rains , clouds

You dont have to hire 4X4 from madikeri or from your hotel/homestay, you can drive up-to foothills, there you will so many jeeps for hire. take jeep from there. Dont drive the last stretch even if you have a 4X4 yourself... More

Early morning trek will be a wonderful exp, you can start at 5 AM, reach there by 6:30, start again by 8:30 and come back by 9:45 The last trip for the day is to be taken by 5:45 for ascent and 6:45 for descent from forest... More

You can take your own vehicle provided you have a 4x4 and a driver who can drive in such a terrain. It's an absolutely unknown terrain and gets tougher at each curve and since monsoon is in full force now, it could be... More
