Kolamb beach is not easily accessible, far away from road. Thus not much frequented by tourists. A quick 15min drive from Malvan City will get you there. Clean beach with very cozy and private atmosphere. Beach not advisable for swimming as currents are strong and depth increases suddenly.

All the beaches of Malvan / Tarkarli are simply awesome But this beach is simply fantastic. A virgin, unexplored serene beach. An ideal place for meditation. Watching the deep blue pristine water gives you mental peace par excellence. A hidden gem indeed !

Beautiful, pristine beach, fresh air. The only sound you will hear is the waves hitting the shore. Perfect for a peaceful, relaxing getaway from the city.

Although Tarkarli has started seeing significant crowd these days, Kolamb beach still remains empty. The stretch of sand is just as fine as Tarkarli and water very welcoming. It is about 4 km from the Malvan bust stand and easily accessible with Auto rickshaws. There are 2-3 homestay cum hotels right across the beach. We stayed at the Krishna Hotel... More

Living in a big city can be daunting, especially with all the noise. So if you miss the silence, the gentle strokes of the sea hitting the shore, empty roads, and great weather, then it is time to head to Tarkarli and its neighborhood. I backpacked to the south Konkan coast in December. On my agenda was a laidback time... More
