In late Autumn, the See becomes glassy and turns the colour of mercury. The peaks of the Alps are just visible through the grey mist. You can see Winter coming in Starnberg. Beautiful place.

I travelled by train there from Munich city center.There are a lot of nice walks there and various places to eat!
