Honeymoon

Parikia was dreamy, exceeded my expectations of Paros and I look forward to returning with my family next year. One of my favourite places of my island hopping honeymoon .

I loved Parikia town as it offered so much. There are stunning coastal views, lovely cafes along the front, a maze of old alleys dating back hundreds of years and a fantastic cathedral. I found the people friendly and there were a number of locals out dining in the restaurants. The town is clean, well kept and safe to walk... More

The people of Parikia are much simpler. You get a feel of the true culture without so much tourist BS like it's neighboring island Mykonos. The town had the church of 100 doors. One of the first churches build and inspired by Constantine. Bus station is close so getting around in and out of town is easy. Taxi service is... More

Old Town, Castle, Panagia Ekatontapylianni, the sea front full of cafe bars and resturants, many amazing things to do and see!

I really enjoyed sauntering through the streets of Parikia. It feels more residential than some of the more touristy spots in the Cyclades. As such during low season it still felt alive and welcoming. Lots of cute homes and streets with nice cafes for food and beverages.

If you are going to Paros, Parikia is the town where you arrive on the ferry boat. It is actually a fun place to stay rather than just a port to arrive at. There are lots of bars shops places to eat and there is a sailing club at one end of the town where you can hang out and... More

The main town of Paros is everything you expect in a Greek Island experience: white-washed houses and streets trimmed with blue, and hand to everything the island has to offer - including great shopping!

We enjoyed browsing the shops and going around the charming square. We found some fantastic ice cream. Great views.

Friendly, safe small town to spend a day or a week. We spend 5-days there and weren't in a hurry to leave. Plenty of restaurant options, something for everyone. The historic town/old town is nice to wander, lots of shops and even more restaurants, very picturesque. Beaches are quite nice and the water is crystal clear. We rented a scooter... More

Paros was a great surprise. Not being the "obvious"option at the greek islands such as iOS,Mykonos and Santorini, it is much more affordable and keeps the local touch.Prices are also much more friendly and the Parikia Village is really lovely. It can be reached both by ferry boat from Athens (3 hours) or from a flight from Athens international Airport(40 minutes flight)
