It is one of numerous waterfalls in the fjord area. Surely impressive, and the views are great. We saw it on our car ferry ride from Geiranger, but I am not sure whether it would be worth a separate visit on a boat tour.

If you reach this place, you surely are on a ship. please let someone tell you the reason why this waterfall is called the "seven sisters" as well as the pretender in front of them (gone a little drunk). Quite funny.

Multiple rainbows off the fine spray of the seven sisters waterfalls on the Geiranger Fjord. This was on a "tourist" car ferry, with multilingual commentary.

The legendary tale behind each of the Seven Waterfalls being regarded as seven unmarried sisters with a waterfall on the opposite end that has constantly wooed and had its proposal declined makes... Even though there was good flow of water, the stream was very thin in December, and we had problem counting them. May be better at other times

We went in September and took a boat tour which was a lot of fun. However the seven sisters did not live up the hype. They were barely flowing. If recommend not seeing them late in the year
