A great view of the mountains and fjord. Very impressive scenery. Make sure you dress up warmly. Also, it is probably a good idea to go earlier during the day, before crowds. Note that the views may be limited by clouds and fog. Because of the elevation, you may be actually above the cloud level! A plenty of stops to... More

Do visit on a clear and sunny day! The view is amazing! This is a toll-road, but worth the price on a clear day. Do notice the "old pictures" on your way down! This mountaintop offers a souvenir kiosk with classic Norwegian items. Good parking space.

Was here a few times and liked it every time i was here. Try to visit this place when its not cloudy and not raining because you wont see anything and you wont be able to make perfect photos

Ridiculously good value for money! Definitively worth the extra toll charge. The views are incredible. Just go already!! If you are extra lucky, like I was, you will see a family walking their cat on a leash up there.

Very interesting terrain and a great view of Geirangerfjord. Really worth the drive up. It was a little breezy up there, so you may want a jacket. Also so great views from across the lot and road. If you're feeling adventurous, exploring is worth it.

This is one of the absolute most stunning view points in the Geiranger region. The road is winding up to 1500 m.above the sealevel. How did they built this in 1800...amazing. The road is more spectacular than Trollstigen! And the wieu from the plattform on top. Fasinating and grand. You can walk out on a plattform and look down, you... More

Thank you for your review, Katharina. The road was actually finished in 1939, but because of WWII, the official opening was delayed some years. Best wishes from the Dalsnibba staff. More

Unfortunately by the time we got to the top, the weather did not cooperate and we had no view. However, driving to the top I could see how amazing the views would be from the top. Nothing I can do about the weather but the ride up was definitely a thrill.

My wife and I vacationed in Norway, and had the pleasure of driving up Dalsnibba from where we stayed in Geiranger. This was one of the standout experiences, of many, during the entire trip. I loved driving up and down the winding roads from Geiranger, as well as the very well constructed roads up and down Dalsnibba itself. These are... More

There is a small fee to drive up the winding road to the very top, but it was soooo worth it. you are at the same level as the ice caps and glaciers on the nearby mountains, and have an unparralled view of Geiranger below. if you don't want to pay the fee, you get about half this view further... I have acrophobia, so wasn't sure I'd make it through the hairpin turns to the top. It was worth it, however, and I was comfortable up there walking around. Layers and layers of mountains, clouds, waterfalls, and the fjord below take your breath away.
