What a wonderful experience.

At first the group tried El Pilar but we ended up down at the visitor centre for Caldera Taburiente were it was clear. Ana said we'd only retain 5% of the information but because... read more

I enquired on 7 February if there was a tour on 18 March because I couldn't see one in the calendar. Ana replied advising to clear my browser cache and check again. After doing that I could see the date available and booked a tour for two. On 13 March I sent an email to Ana to ask about how... More

I am afraid your tour date was 18/02 (February not March) and we had you as no show on that date. You made the wrong online booking and on the wrong date. Please check and read your tickets. On the other hand the tour on 18/03 was cancelled due to weather. Cancellations sms messages were sent to all clients on... More

At first the group tried El Pilar but we ended up down at the visitor centre for Caldera Taburiente were it was clear. Ana said we'd only retain 5% of the information but because of the way she presented the stars and the constellations I rather think I've retained rather more. I'm looking forward to receiving the group photo with... More

the weather had closed in on us, strong winds, low cloud, and rain made for a disappointing view over the volcano. Always take water proofs with you even if its sunny in the resort. The visit to the telescope was fantastic if you like looking at the stars, not to get carried away as the trip is through the day,... More

It is worth knowing that you won't be able to hire any equipment without being trained in how to use it. We drove across the island to be told that, as beginners, we couldn't rent any equipment. This would be perfectly acceptable if it weren't for the opposite impression being created by the company's website, and a certain newspaper's article... More

It is true we do not recommed renting a telescope for beginners. Without knowing the sky and without knowing how to work out the equipment, it would be a waste of money. We do this out of honesty and also to keep our equipment safe. Perhaps you could have phone us before to inquire about the rental and without appearing... More

We booked for this, crossed the island to have dinner before our trip and, during dinner, got a text message to say that the weather had closed in and that the evening was cancelled, could we reschedule for another date? We wouldn't but we did appreciate their professional level of communication.

We had no idea before we arrived in La Palma that it is one of the best places for stargazing, so when we found out, we felt we should take advantage of this. We didn't hire a car, so it was really useful for the transport to be provided. We had to go up high, so it was very cold... More

We pre-booked this trip in the UK, and the taxis took us to a night-viewing spot near El Paso in the centre of the island. The tour was led by Augustin, whose knowledge and passion for astrophysics was apparent to us all from the word go. His explanation of how the stars form, exist, change and die was easy to... More

Thank you Augustin for a fabulous night with the stars. Fascinating to see the Milky Way, Mars, Saturn - and it's rings etc. The steep drive high up in the mountains was an experience - but the driver was VERY good. We learned so much - how to locate compass point south from the moon, etc. Day time temperatures were... More

Visitors to La Palma shouldn't miss the opportunity to join one of the tours. It was great talking to professional astronomers and the information provided was just right for people without too much knowledge in astronomy. The condition of the night sky was fantastic. We went to Mirador de Las Ventas, where you could see the milkyway and some planets... More
