This is a sandy beach without a lot of commercial intrusion. There is a small shop where hot and cold food and drinks can be purchased plus beach toys, while we were there in August lifeguards were on duty during the day. The car park...More

If you are out that way then it's worth parking the car and going for a walk along the beach. When down on the beach you can't see any of the buildings on the top of the cliffs so it feels remote and isolated.

The only downfall was that dogs aren't allowed on this beach between certain hours so we had to take it in turns to run down and check out the cool rock formations.

We popped by here after reading tripadvisor reviews nd weren't disappointed. We managed to find parking on a local road within a short walk. This beautiful sandy beach is interesting to explore the rock formations, cliffs and caves.

Many beaches in the area are average and run down, this one is beautiful and not too busy even at peak times. Lovely walks along the cliff tops and a lush stretch of sand. Free parking so definitely worth the trip.

I visited the bay twice as the Saturday we were caught in a thunderstorm so had our picnic hiding in 'the cave' on the beach. It's amazing how to see such beautiful nature but it saddens one to see how people need to deface it...More

Can't believe I spent hours getting here, it's terrible! Don't believe any of the reviews- go to a nearby beach such as Joss Bay or Margate Beach (much nicer!) There were horrible toilets, nearly no parking- people resorted to parking up the residential roads in...More

Perfect for swiming and sunbathing. Sandy beach. Calm and peaceful even in sunny day in August. Interesting during tide. With seeshels and and amazing seashore when low water.
