There is not much there but is well worth the stop as it is free and you can sense and feel the history around this barracks.

This is a highly evocative and very photogenic site. It played an important role in Scottish history and stands proudly on a steep rise. Although visible from the road it is worth driving up to the car park and walking through the ruins to get...More

The barracks occupy a gorgeous spot of the Highlands so there are nice views from around them. Interesting bit of history, worth a short stop to see.

A great piece of Scottish Highland History on the outskirts of Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands when the Barracks was used to police the Highlands in the 1700 hundreds.
