This is a great activity for children and adults, and a great way of exploring the local area. The volunteers staffing the office are friendly and knowledgable.

This is a great fun thing to do whilst seeing the village of Newton more and surrounding countryside. There are so many cats to find some easy and some hard to find. Kids will love it and gets them walking.

Walked the full 10km trail. Really good mostly fairly flat route with some great views and lots of wildlife to see. Allow 4 hours though with stops to do the full circuit. Guide book recommended to get the best from the trail.

We went round anti clockwise from the north end of Newtonmore. This is the best section and most scenic. The lower section round the golf course not so interesting but easier part of the walk. Simple well signposted trail. Suitable for kids or adults although...More

Correct , you stroll around Newtonmore looking for the painted cats , many painted by the local school children.
