very nice place to go and learn about early history of south Africa, grounds are well kept and the staff are super friendly and helpful, this was my second visit and will surely be back for a 3rd visit

It is important to visit both the Afrikaner museum and the Zulu museum. The are situated in different places on the site of the battle. A very memorable day.

Very informative from both the Voortrekker and Zulu sides. Grounds and facilities are well maintained with friendly staff to assist at the Restaurant.

there is a culture museum of both sides of the river honouring the Boer & Zulu respectively. The Boer museum has a restaurant that offers some traditional Afrikaans cuisine and a presentation hall in which you can view a video that provides the history to...More

Having done The Isandlwana Battlefields and Rorke's drift one must also visit the Blood River Site to understand better the history of the South African history.
