Incredible place! You can walk for hours along the coast or take the trail located just along the coast that is in the forest. Be sure you do not miss seeing the Jesus Crist Tree - incredible. You will enjoy meeting locals along the walk and if you're lucky they may offer you a seat and cold beer!

Good snorkeling nearby and a fine beach. Very popular with boat tours and may be busy. Pay toilets. Primitive facilities and most of the island is private.

Just came back from Isle of Tortuga tour. It was very well organized. Awesome food! Calypso crew was fantastic. The only down flaw that Calypso had and may not be responsible for, is that the company who organized our tour, had misinformed us by telling us that there was a hike, and close up with tropical birds. Neither of this... More

A fun catamaran ride, of about an hour and five minutes on Calypso tour's Catamaran, complete with a netting floor section pools, and a bar, was fun and enjoyable, cbejng offered watermelon, pineapple and papaya by the crew. On the island the snorkleiiing was fun, but sadly no reefs. A banana boat tour was enjoyable especially wit young children, 5,7,7, but... More

We had a great day! We stayed at the Marriott in Los Suenos Resort and the Costa Cat catamaran is docked right in the Los Suenos marina so it was an easy walk from our room to the dock. We arrived at 7:30am and were treated with coffee, juice and breakfast baked goodies. Captain Jim Kitchell had the engines fired... More

After a scuba or snorkel you can decide what you want to do. Dance, swim or sun bathed, your choice but whatever you decide you will truly enjoy. Beautiful island with beautiful view.

We went on Tortuga December 2015 and decided to go again when we visited Tambor May 2016. Boat ride was very good, we didn't snorkel this time but just hung out on beach. Very pretty sand and water. Do bring beach shoes as sand gets hot and there are patches of stones. Water is good to swim in. You should... More

What's not to love about this lovely boat ride and to arrive on a white sand beach in the early morning and then by noon there is wall to wall people. YIkes!!!! A lovely island and we went early in the morning and left about 2 pm as there was too many people. There is great snorkelling and a souvenir... More

Beautiful beach easy to swim and lounge around. Snorkelling was great too. Got to see lots of fish. The island is nice, but a bit of a tourist trap. Once you arrive to the island be ready to chill on the beach or in the water unless you are prepared to pay 40/20mins on a wave runner. We packed our... More
