We are a small family business where you can find beautiful and unique wood bolws, which are made by the owner, the work area is in the same place so we extend the invitation to all our customers to visit the workshop and observe the process. We also have jewelry that is made also by the owner and her daughter, some made from recycled paper, seeds, and more. We hope to see you soon!

Stopped because we saw a sign that said "Rosewood" and so glad we did! A husband/wife own the shop- she does the jewelry, runs the shop and he does the woodworking. The wood pieces are very nice. Prices were the best that I saw in Monteverde. Located next door to the Don Juan coffee entrance. Maybe I'm getting a little... More

We are so thankful for the time that we spent with Jose at the woodworking studio, the gift shop, and the amazing garden! We were allowed an opportunity to see several birds, flowers, and a variety of garden produce as well. If you are in the area, DO NOT miss this great site! We were even allowed to use some... More

This couple runs beautiful art gallery for wood pieces that the husband creates and jewelry pieces that the wife creates. They are so friendly the husband showed us around his garden and taught us a lot of things and even showed us his Woodshop and how things work. This is an experience I would have been happy to pay for.... More

My fiancée and I stopped in to see some souvenirs while cruising the town. Beautiful woodwork that is handcrafted and cheaper than wood artifacts found in the center of town. The store belongs to a husband and wife. Danise, the wife, makes the jewelry sold in the store while her husband, Jose Luis makes all of the wooden pieces. The... More

These folks are selling beautiful woodwork out of their home for excellent prices. That's just the begining. We were invited to tour the garden and saw more orchids in half an hour than we did in two days of hiking. Then we were shown the garden and handed herbs and sugar cane to try. Then we were shown the workshop.... More

We really enjoyed stopping by this place. Jose Luis is the humble gentlemen behind the handcrafted work. He was kind enough to give us a tour of his garden, and he's extremely passionate about his orchids. Since the shop wasn't too busy we even got a chance to (attempt) to make a crafted wood. I wasn't too good at it... More

This is an amazing place - a small, unsuspecting souvenir shop that you might easily pass by, but its well worth stopping. We were shown around the garden which is a delight - full of the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen, plus birds and wildlife, we saw so many things here. We were cut fresh sugar cane to... Jose Luis gave us a great free tour of his property. Amazing flowers, fruit and bird life. In a country where tourism has become overly expensive this was a surprising, hospitable gesture without any hard sell. We saw more of interest here than in the 3 hours spent in the cloud forest.

We almost passed this place up... Says local artist in the window but little did we know the husband makes all the wood bowls right in the backyard of the property - where he was born and raised! If you walk though the orchid garden, not only will Jose Luis show you every orchid in his garden, he'll take you... More

This shop and garden was amazing. We went sent to check it out and we are glad we did. We got a free tour trough the beautiful garden. He took his time and try to explane everything we saw in the garden. Full of lovely flowers and different kinds of birds. It was wonderful. The owners wife makes all the... More
