Half way between the town of Santa Elena and the Santa Elena Preserve the Sky Walk is located: This complex use trails, suspension bridges for a more tranquil introduction to the ecology and natives of the forest canopy, constructed within the cloud forest. It allows a vision of the forest from a different perspective which starts with a walk on the ground taking you up to explore the treetops, a hardly discovered habitat, called the “canopy” with a naturalist guide. Also discover the night wildlife at our Sky Walk Night Tour.

This lush cool rainforest with wide paths is a lovely way to intake the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. You can take as much time as you need, walking along the well guided paths, there's monkeys, birds, and all sorts of plants and it really is in your own time. There's a little souvenir shop and also a canteen... More

We purchased the package which included the sky walk with the guide, the sky tram and trek. Our package also included transportation to and from our hotel. We did four other hikes through various parks in Costa Rica, and this was the most lush rainforest. It was a beautiful stroll with the suspension bridges and had beautiful views of the... More

They provide transportation to and from Santa Elena. I thought it was a little pricey for $30 but if you take your time and go back and forth over the 8 bridges, you could spend a good 3-4 hours. The flora views were stunning and I got to see the Quetzal in the misty backdrop though it is very difficult... More

By no means is this not a beautiful area. I think to truly experience the walk and the bridges you should go with a guide to point out flor and fauna and creatures. I did this walk solo and just perused the area and took in the views. It was definitely very beautiful. However, the ticket was $24 which is... More

We went to Santa Elena instead of Monteverde because it is the same type of forest but a lot less active. At Monteverde there are only a certain amount of people allowed on the trails at a time so it's first come first serve and you may have to wait. There was no wait at Santa Elena. We basically had... It is really a nice forest But the ticket to go through its more expensive (30$) without any reason to pay simply to see this forest. I think it should be free for the travellers

Not certain if this was one one we took, there were nione bridges to walk across, But the best part was the hike between bridges, lot of lush plant, ferns, orchards and other. Some birds. But did start with a hummingbird area

A very easy hike up well maintained trials and hanging bridges atop the rain forest canopy. Thrilling and beautiful. Take time to observe the plants and animals along the way. Listen for the birds.
