Great season opening for us. Not a lot of people on the slopes, great snow, sunshine, lots of lifts already open. Perfect scenery and conditions. Very friendly staff.

This is the second time I've visited Stubaier Gletscher. The first time was for some early (pre) season downhill skiing in late October. Most recently was for summer sightseeing in early July. The same wonderful experience - great facilities and lift system. Lots of parking...More

We visited Stubai Glacier at the end of September. The new cable car was great. As one who dislikes heights, its stability and size, not to mention extras like music and Wi-Fi, removed all fears. The Top of Tyrol viewing platform was fantastic as we...More

Fast comfortable lift to a dramatic view from the viewing platform. We visited after fresh snow which made everything more dramatic. Ice cave was good as we're refreshments in the snow and sunshine.

We had fabulous views from the top of the ice capped mountain. The cable offers you great views on the way up as well as down.

I think you should be able, but we found that sometimes the cave is closed and we didn't found out why. I think they close on weather conditions but I'm not sure. The weather should be fine in September anyway.
