The skiing its self wasn't as good as many other places i have been, the amount of ski runs todo is fairly poor and can easily be done in a day. The cafes up the mountain are over priced, and the staff particularly rude to British tourists. I feel because this resort is used heavily by locals over the weekend... More

Been coming here for a few years now, learned to ski here on the nursery slopes and been on every slope but the black runs. Facilities are excellent for both skiing and snowboarding. Staff all speak excellent English, can get very busy at weekends. Will keep coming back.

The worse glacier skiing which I experienced. Slopes like roads with rocks and stones unprepared! Crowded that skiing becomes dangerous. Lifts are old and slow you have to wait in Q everywhere. Not enough places in restaurant people have to eat on the stairs They sell half portions for price of full ( dont speak about quality)

I go every year around 11/11 and think this is one of the best glacier skiing places you can find in Austria. They installed a new cable car which makes the long lines going up disappear. We stayed at hotel Mutterberg at the foot of both cable cars but on our way home we saw 8km of queuing cars. I... More

Prices of food are as high as in any other resort. Skiing conditions though are very bad. The slopes are not maintained and so you have either desks of ice or hills of snow which lead to injuries. The viewing terrace was closed and by the chair photo point was parked all their heavy technic so you cannot take a... More

Great conditions in October with many Race Teams training on the Hill. Lifts and access to the slopes are very good, several areas to start from, at various altitudes. Ideal for seasonal skiers.

We went up the Stubaier Glacier on an impulse. And it was worth it.We did have quite an adventure. The first part of the journey was a closed cable car: and we were and felt safe. The second leg was in the open ski chair. We weren't given any instructions on pulling the rail down, and we took off gripping... More

The top of the glacier is reached by taking a cable car then an eight seated chair lift and from there you can walk to the very top, crossing the glacier. We didn't do the final part as whilst traversing across it would be ok going up, not so keen on the way back, slippage risk etc. So instead admired... More
