With Peter's experience in France, we learned the complex history of the Normandy Invasion, met Claude Monet the gardener and artist, heard the bells and chants at Saint-Mount Michel, the ancient and incredible tapestry of the Battle of Hastings, and lovely Normandie countryside. Wow what a week! BravoTripUSAFrance!

We were two adult couples going to Normandy from Paris and back and spent five days in the Normandy region including visiting the WWII sites. Our trip was very well organized in every respect including hotel accommodations. driver, restaurant choices and especially the local guides. Everything was high quality, on time and we always felt we were in the right place at the right time. I highly recommend TripUSAFrance and plan to use them again.

I must say that the 8-day TripUSAFrance tour of southern France that I took in early May 2019 with eleven other women is arguably the best, most fun vacation I’ve ever taken. Julia and her father, Stephane, are friendly and very knowledgeable tour guides. Did I mention accommodating? They picked us up at the Montpellier airport bearing much-welcomed sandwiches (such fresh bread) and beverages in hand, then drove us to our small but comfortable hotel where the innkeepers, Gerard and his wife Katy, provided personal hospitality and breakfast every morning. Julia and Stephane (we started calling him Papa because they came to feel like family to us) drove us to many historical sites as well as street markets and wineries. And the food! The lunches and dinners they planned for us were in sometimes sophisticated, sometimes cozy restaurants, but always delicious. One was even a family affair in which Julia’s mother provided and served a home-made picnic. I could go on and on about how wonderful this trip was for me, but I’ll end with this concise recommendation: “You’ll love it!”

My wife and I took this 9 day small group tour of Southern France with our two twenty something daughters in Sep/Oct 2019 and we had a blast. It is quite simply superb. The tour is run by Julia with the help of her dad Stephane. They're both genuinely warm and charming, helpful and a lot of fun. The itinerary is very well planned to take in the major historical sites, like Pont du Gare, Carcasonne, stimulating cultural highlights such as Aix-en-Provence, Arles and a variety of dining experiences. These range from the luxe, Hôtel de Caumont, Villa Mazarin, the informal, a restaurant in Julia's village to a picnic and pétanque game and on this trip a barbeque after a demonstration by les Gardians, the Carmargue cowboys. Its all very relaxed and easy going. We stayed in the one hotel (Les Coquilles in Palavos les Flots) so no packing and unpacking. And its a real family affair. Julia drove one of the vans and did most of the tour guiding. Stephane drove the other, was full of good stories as well as being a dab hand at magic tricks. You could say he wore many hats (and he did, he loves hats and had quite a few). Special mention to Peter (Julia's husband), Cathy (her mum and Stephane's wife) and Eric (the Legend). And of course to our fellow travellers. We were 13 in all (luckily) 7 Americans and 6 Aussies. Thanks guys. (In case anyone is wondering we're Aussies). If you're looking for a small group tour of the South of France, and if you're reading these reviews I guess you are, look no further. This is the gold standard, le top du top. Highly recommended. 5 Stars.

I loved my tour with TripUSAFrance! My goal was to get to Baux-de-Provence to visit Carrières de Lumières, featuring Van Gogh. Researching that site, I found this wonderful tour and booked it. My solo travel was not a problem with a small group of 13. Peter, Julia’s husband, picked us up in Montpelier and brought us to Hotel Les Coquilles, our base across from the beach in Palavas-les-Flots. I marvel at Julia’s skill in adjusting our itinerary. She moved up our visit to Aix because an anticipated exhibit was changing (we had a wonderful lunch there also). When a cooking class had to be cancelled, Julia arranged a demonstration with the Camargue horses at a local bull ranch- and there was a lot of good local wine and a picnic thereafter. The tours were excellent. Julia and Stéphane (her father) were our drivers and guides, and translators when needed. The variety of the tours and the quality of the lunches and dinners are praiseworthy. Van Gogh was a highlight… a walking tour in Arles, and my personal favorite - the art installation at Les Carrières de Lumières. We visited wineries, an ornithological park (flamingos!), papal palace at Avignon, Roman amphitheater and Pont du Gard in Nimes, medieval fortress at Carcassonne, Roman necropolis in Arles, art museum in Montpelier, a ranch, a picnic at a winery with delicious food prepared by Julia’s mom, Cathy. Thanks to Julia, Peter, Stéphane, and Cathy, and to Cathy and Gerard of Hotel les Coquilles for a memorable vacation!
